What are your thoughts about a new online mentoring program for expat teens?

Read all about it in an interview on my blog with Ellen from Sea Change Mentoring.

Hi Karen, thank you for reading and commenting. It’s nice to know I’m not alone and crazy. Okay, I’m a little crazy, but hopefully in a way that’s appreciated. For now, I’ll be wandering the world because now I’ve let go of ever having a home or community. I am very much a minority even amongst TCKs, so it’s hard to relate save for a few who know what it’s like to not be the usual child of a rich and political person. In my case–it’s just a lot of story that I feel tired of telling because not many people are interested or able to relate or understand, and if they do, they just don’t have the ability to give the help I need. So, being a loner is what I’ve accepted as my fate.

Two of my children would benifit from this.  We don’t know of any families with TCKs in our area.  One of our children is depressed and could use some insight and encouragment from someone who has been through transitioning back into their passport country. I havn’t found any teens on this site who she might be able to chat with.  Any suggestions?Â
