Wisdom Shared by a 3 year-old boy

At Dinner table, a man was talking with his wife. His aunt was recently fired from her job. Their 3 year-old son overheard their conversation. He said to his father, “She was fired? You have to call firefighter, daddy.” His father tried his best to explain what happened to his aunt. Not understanding what his father said, he replied, “She was fired because she did not listen.”

    Paul,
I suspect silence on this topic is “deafening”. i recall one member here saying she was horrified when she learned that male teenagers in America give “corsets” to their “prom dates”. It was a hilarious story! LOL

As for myself, I was more than a little concerned to find out that Americans give “red poppies” on Memorial Day. i thought they said “red puppies” to veterans of the armed services and so I gave a “friend” an Irish setter puppy for “service to his country”. thank god that he had a good sense of humour and also a good moral conscience. Said puppy spent many years in “service” to an American war vet, and “retrieved” the newspaper and (other things) every day for him.
