    I just wanted to say that despite the conflict with your parents regarding the matter, I think your heart and mind are in the right place. If you don’t feel right there and you have given it a chance, you have to move to where you feel it is right. Yes, it may be an uphill battle and you may have to compete harder than some other people to achieve what you want. It is okay not to be an “obedient Korean” if that is not who you are. If you fight and achieve exactly what you were striving for, acceptance from your parents will hopefully come with time.
