@ Hey Abigail 🙂
Ha! 😀 then make sure to contact me if you happen to come to Denmark during the summer half year – it’s only my mom and other crazy ones who go out kayaking now in the snowy weather lol…
Sounds fantastic that you’re going to Greece :o) I’d like to visit that place on Earth. There’s so much old European history connected to that…[Read more] -

@ Hi Tim!!! Thanks for the add! I live in a city that is so provincial, so socially/globally backward, that it’s actually painful to live here. In many ways, I got “stuck” here — I made choices I shouldn’t have made, ad nauseum. But we make the best of our choices yes??? So, in all being an urban hermit isn’t so bad. I have “international…[Read more]

@ Konnichiwa Miyon~san 🙂 Thanks for stopping by and saying “hello” and for your hint about finding TCK groups in the greater Philadelphia area.
Now I noticed you said you’d spent sometime living in Japan and had even gone to CAJ. Very interesting – what years were you at CAJ and where in Japan where your parents stationed? I went to CAJ for one…[Read more]

@ Hey God bless you Marco!!! God bless you!~!! So great to meet someone from Asia….I loved travelling there when I was younger. (Been to Phuket, Jakarta, and Hong Kong.)
I relate to what you say: you don’t understand your parent’s culture…I’m “American” and I’ve been living in the states now for about 20 years, but I STILL don’t understand or…[Read more] -

@ Oh, Abigail. I plan to apply for some other conferences in the management discipline with this paper as well. And the due date is January 14th. So, if you could provide me comments and feedbacks until early January, it would be appreciated. Thank you.

@ Loved your reply, too! And no, not wordy at all. There’s so much to talk about. 🙂 Funny thing was that I’ve only been to university and college in Chennai. I finished high school in California, and it was a huge transition, because the education systems are so different. When I look at it through the eyes of a TCK, I really learn to see things…[Read more]

@ LA? You’re kidding… I lived just around the corner, in Orange County! Yes, I live in Chennai now. And Ooty’s amazing. I’ve been there several times – it’s such a relief from the Chennai heat. What do you remember about Chennai? Spencer’s Plaza? Auto drivers! Do you speak a bit of Tamil?
I know what you mean about photos. I rely on them so…[Read more]

@ Hi Brice,
Yes, I had pain in my neck and shoulder, for the last 20 years. I had some old physical injury from accidents, etc. and that’s what I assumed it’s from. Sometimes, my hands would go numb and it would drive me crazy. Also, pain radiating down my left arm. For 20 years. Since I discovered about TCK, the pain is gone for the second…[Read more] -

@ Dear Abigail: You don’t know the FIGT conference? Check this out! http://www.figt.org/
It’s the conference organized by the family in global transition. They also provide David C. Pollock scholarship to promising students who want to attend the conference. I applied for it and hope to present my paper there. There will be many TCKs, researchers,…[Read more] -
