Big shout out to you “southerners”. I love the scenery here too, because it reminds of Iran. Interesting you would say Himalayas — I also lived in Germany so certain parts of Tahoe remind me of Interlaken, Switzerland. 😉
LOL!
Best and warmest wishes to you…[Read more] -

@ Hey Nioucha, I loved what you had to say about religion. I too am spiritual, not religious. Unfortunately, i can’t speak as many languages as you, i’m jealous. What was graduate school like in Switzerland? I just finished my masters in the states, and i have a feeling that you enjoyed your grad program a lot more than i did.

Your a really good writer and i’m sure you’ll do great at the college level. I hope everything works out for you.

@ Hey, Suzanne. Shout out to you in Reno. Saw your video–beautiful pics. Did you take? When I worked for the State, I traveled to Reno quite a bit. Washoe area is more aligned with my taste in nature as I grew up in the “foothills” of the Himalayas. …but I’ve come to appreciate the purples on the desert mountains down here in LV, as well as…[Read more]

@ Thank you Inge, for your sweet support, and kindness to me, a newcomer!
I lived in Africa too! Liberia —3.5 years. I really loved it there and I am really missing it this time of year (seasons reversed!) I lived in the bush on the St. Paul River, nearby to Caldwell, and Ceasar’s Beach, not far away. I am very homesick for my many lands, for…[Read more] -
