I am getting Canon EOS Rebel 500D 15.1 MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera with 3-Inch LCD and EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens. Someone is buying it for me so I don’t feel guilty about it lol. I can put some pictures on flickr if you are able to access it.

I am getting a canon XSi… it’s enough of an amateur camera that it’s affordable and relatively easy to figure out (I think~), it’s a good size for me, and I’ve always been partial to canon. 🙂
Some of the other models, like the D50, are impressive… but too high end for me, haha.
