@ Hi Daphne and welcome to TCKID. I can see you’ve been to a few places over the years. How are you finding Holland. I have been to the Netherlands 4 times now, only problem is that it was for business reasons and not for holidays. Means you tend to have a picture of a country as only having roads, airports, railways, factories and hotels. I will…[Read more]

@ Hi, again, Moses–I tried to send you an e-mail, but I guess you need to make me a friend before I can do so. . . Since the January 17 TCKid meeting is coming up soon, but it is held in a private home, I don’t want to post their address for the whole world to see.
Point of my post: Make me a friend, and I can e-mail you! LOL! 🙂

    @ Hi Byron,
I am a Notre Dame grad – Asian Fighting Irish (wow that does sound strange) though I am not quiet a football nutfan. 😀
It’s very cool that you taught at a college. Teaching is something that I am interested but the doors of teahing at college in South Korea is pretty much tight and closed. And I’m not too sure whether I can be a good…[Read more]

@ Hey bird. Thanks for the nice comment and sweet wishes. You are nice. Feel free to shoot me a message whenever you arrive in Korea – maybe we can hang out and have some fun.

As of internship, keep your eyes on Korean job search engines. Though the best option would be using your/your parents’ network. Just make sure that it’s not another…[Read more]

@ KImberly, sorry for the delay in answering. I’ve been in and out for about two weeks. One thought I just had for your new TCK community is attending a webinar I will be giving for the USA Girlscouts Overseas on Feb. 12th. It’s a TCK Fundamentals session and then I talk about the challenges that TCKs face when they repatriate or transition to…[Read more]
