@ Yep, they’re my parent’s friends. I think they met at Prairie in Canada or something. I almost went down to do a short-term mission with them once.

@ Great idea, Dale. A much needed process for missionaries and their families. Commendable! I wish there had been something like that for our family when we came back to the States and had to make those hard transitions without help.
Do you by chance know the Duane Howe’s down in the Amazon area?

@ Thanks Jonathan, yes, I’d be interested in your perspective and what you have to say, or write.  We have a rather large adult TCK community here in Norfolk, NE and there has been an ongoing dialog over what we can do to help create a community that helps young TCKs transition better.  Always a huge challenge.     Dale

@ Only a year. I lived in south Madrid in the Vallecas section (a bit scary) beneath Atocha Station. It was marvelous most of the time, and also hard. Went to all the towns around. Loved San Sebastian and also Portugal (especially Lisbon!).
