@ Ya, to get in the movie theater it needs a certain amount of ratings from around the country.
Since I live in Chico, California ( a college town) The sundance festival stops here, where movies are shown and judged for Independent theaters. Not backed up by places like Warner brothers and stuff.

I”m not sure about the movie you meant, Les Passagers seems to be coming out this month but I can’t seem to find out anything else about it!
