@ Welcome Julie!  I’m not really new here on this site, but I’m newly active.  I haven’t even logged on much before.  Anyway… “Welcome!”

    @ Hey Gregory!

Colombia is… spectacular. There is no other word to better describe this country. I don’t particularly feel like an “outsider”, as I speak Spanish nearly as well as I do English now (I’ve been here for just under 2 years). Yet, despite that fact, I can tell you that even true “outsiders” never feel as such. Colombia is a…[Read more]

    @ Hello!
Are you living in Seattle now? I was born there but am currently living in Italy. Have you heard of Edmonds? My grandmother lives there. Just curious!
    God bless!

    @ Hi Miyon,
Thx for your reply 🙂 I also usually reply very late… I’m glad you’re avtive again on TCKid 🙂
Actually, I’m reading a lot TCKs forums but I can’t say that I’m participating in them a lot.

I definitely know what you mean by “different from a lot of people who have a sense of one-ness in terms of identity” ahah :] Although I’m n…[Read more]

@ As you can see in my late late reply, Remy…

    @ Hi Ashley,

I am sorry for having taken so long to respond..
I have been very bad with electronic communications here 🙁

I am actually learning about interconnectedness again… as I am repeating what it means to adjust to a new environment, even within the Chicago suburbs, but I am very grateful that there are people, although far away phy…[Read more]

    @ Hi Tony

Thanks for finding me and adding me!
When I was graduating from college, I applied for Rotary International for a job. I ended up not getting one, but I thought it would be a great organization to utilize cross-cultural skills. How were your experiences there as a volunteer?
