@ Hi Chloe!
Just realised that you live in Adelaide too! And I *think* I’ve met your dad – is his name Ken – or similar? I’m not too good with names. If it’s the person I’m thinking of, he and I both attended a Perspectives course run at Unley Park Baptist in 2009.

@ Hi Hannah, just wanted to welcome you to MyTCKID! I live in Australia too, in lil’ ol’ Adelaide. By the way, noticed that you used to work for Oaktree. I came across them recently when they did a ‘live on $2 a day’ fund-raiser. Take care, enjoy MyTCKID!

@ Is it me or are a lot of TCKs quite adventurous? I got a job for 9 months as an outdoor pursuits instructor when I left school and enjoyed white water canoeing and did a parachute jump too.

@ Hi Suzie, You grew up in Nigeria too. I found it a great place to grow up, although with all the bloodshed that has been evident in Nigeria recently, it sort of taints things. I grew up mainly in Jos where I went to school and Vom, where my parents worked at the hospital there. It seems most of the fighting has been centred around Jos…[Read more]

Most other books I’ve read on this topic have contained snippets of first-person narratives. So this one hits the reader at a level that the other books haven’t for…[Read more] -
